I learned to always take on things I’d never done before. Growth and comfort do not coexist.
— Ginni Rometty, IBM

OUR STORY

Bored of cliche ideas and the same ole marketing wiles, we set out to create courageous stories and find even braver storytellers. More importantly, clients who pioneer and causes we believe in. Oh... and it helps that we’re all connected - the Louisiana transplant, her CO-native sister-in-law, and her childhood best friend’s sister. (#itscomplicated)

Let’s just say, building partnerships and telling good stories, that’s our super power.

OUR ATTITUDE

We’re a small, female-founded agency with big ideas and an even bigger vision. Between the three of us, we get nerdy about comics, spreadsheets and snowboards. Our company and our clients thrive because while we don’t take ourselves too seriously, we are seriously committed to our work.

We deliver the goods, aren’t afraid of a deadline, and love tackling big, hairy, audacious goals.

OUR PROMISE

We want to discover the good in our clients. Plus, create what’s good for them. By capturing local values and collaborating with emerging industries, our powers combine to elevate your brand, foster fierce fan-loyalty, and connect your good intentions with your community. Grab a beverage (or a snack) with us and let’s get started.

Achieving paladin-riding Falkor status? That’s our promise.

THE BOSSES

COURTNEY

Co-Founder, C.O.O. and Brand Activist

Courtney is a long time community engager, event enthusiast and social entrepreneur. She is currently co-founder and COO of kindColorado, a community development agency bridging cannabis and local communities. As a co-founder of both RootedSpace and kindColorado, she enjoys serving a variety businesses, nonprofits and communities.

For 15 years, she has been facilitating cross-sector collaboration through diverse story sharing approaches, creative community engagement strategies, and unique brand activation. Within a community enrichment framework, Courtney brings a thoughtful and innovative perspective to sponsorship and brand management.

When she isn't working, she enjoys reading science fiction, finding new comic books and exploring the beach or mountains.

SAM

Co-Founder, Creative Director and Crayon Enthusiast

Sam was born in Aspen, raised in Breckenridge, and even attended CU Denver/ Boulder for college. After completing school for Architecture Design (and a whole slew of art classes on the side) she found herself back in the mountains. After drawing a make-shift event floor plan on a kids menu, she decided it was time for a drastic career change.

Diving in head first, she found her passion for the creative end of wedding and event planning while also developing a talent for marketing. With her keen eye for detail, space utilization, color, and the fact that her creative wheels are always turning, she enrolled in the NYIAD for Event Management and Business Management.

She loves to travel the world and surf but always manages to find her way home to Colorado and the Rocky Mountains for powder days. She recently re-located from Breckenridge to the Denver area with her fiancé. She still loves to paint, hike, raft and snowboard as often as possible!

TRICIA

Co-Founder, Marketing Director and Idea Ambassador

Tricia's positive nature is infectious and matches her need to achieve whatever she puts her mind to. She moved across the world to spend a few years in Australia getting her Master's in Arts and Entertainment Management, and then returned to the states to try out life in New Orleans. She has spent the last five years promoting major music festivals around the US and Canada, such as: Buku Music + Art Project in New Orleans, Tortuga Music Festival in Fort Lauderdale and Pemberton Music Festival in Pemberton, BC (Canada) -- honing her skill-set in marketing and branding while experiencing the ever crazy world of events. She has since moved to Colorado and found a new calling for her fierce work ethic. Together with Courtney and Sam, she co-founded RootedSpace and strives to bring fresh ideas and creativity to every element of the company.

Whether it’s through a brand, a specific product or an event, Tricia is dedicated to creating an experience that is smart, strategic and something you can call your own.

Fun fact: Tricia has traveled to 29 countries and has lived in three. She has broken her same pinky toe twice and blames her parents for her insanely good taste in music.
